1. If you are new to this site, we are asking for the minimum amount of information. The less a person has to fill out, the more likely they will fill out a form online. This email will go into our lead tracking tools and the system will search to see if you are in our contact list. If so, the system will match your inquiry on our site to your contact record - no duplicate data. If not Cosential will create a new contact record.
2. If you are new to the site, you will be presented with a form for additional data on the next page. This will complete the basic information in our contact system and also help us measure and rank this lead. Studies show that you are more likely to fill out additional information if you have already provided your email address.
3. If you are returning to the site, by entering your email address, Cosential will understand you have already entered your contact information so the web site will not ask for it again.
4. Here is the cool magic. If you are returning, Cosential will keep track of how many time you have visited our web site. By visiting our web site multiple times, your lead ranking score will rise, so we can set thresholds to determine if you are slightly interested or very interested. If you are from the same company as some one else who submitted their email, then you will be added to the existing lead, thus raising the lead score more. No duplicate leads from the same company. Lead management and lead scoring can be very powerful tools and help you focus your efforts as opposed to wasting time chasing cold leads.
