Previously, Dan spent eight years as the President of Cornish Productions, where he created marketing presentations for architecture, engineering and construction firms. He is also known for his photography of the Statue of Liberty’s restoration in the 1980’s
Sharon oversees Cosential’s accounting, business operations and pricing, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, payroll, procurement, tax and treasury functions. She brings 35 years’ experience in strategy, management, and financial planning and operations. Most recently, Sharon served as the Vice President of Operations at Epicor Software, leading global sales operations, business operations, shared-services operations and procurement. McCollum is a former Partner at Ernst & Young, where she began her career.

Matt Schatz joins Cosential from WP Engine in Austin where he led global sales for their SMB and Enterprise businesses. Schatz has a strong track record of leading growth companies to higher levels of performance. Prior to WP Engine, Matt held senior management positions at Bazaarvoice and CityVoice. He also spent nearly 10 years at Rackspace where he was instrumental in their growth from 15 employees and $4M in revenue to over 3,500 employees and over $650M in revenue.

Cathy is responsible for maintaining Cosential’s customer-first culture by hiring diverse and talented employees and empowering them to do their best work. She brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience. Prior to Cosential, she served as Chief People Officer of AlienVault, helping small to mid-sized organizations achieve world-class security.
Akshay is responsible for prioritizing product development based on market needs and customer feedback. He brings more than 15 years of product leadership experience. Before arriving at Cosential, Akshay served as the Vice President of Product Management at EMS Software, where he created the organization’s product roadmap and helped lead a successful acquisition process.

Josh is responsible for delivering a World-Class, WOW Customer Experience to Cosential clients. He brings 12 years of experience in building Customer Support and Experience teams. Most recently, Josh served as JIRA Cloud Segment Lead at Atlassian, where he ensured SLAs were met while balancing quality and quantity of customer responses for all agents in the segment. Prior to that, he served as CEO and Founder of ecig.com, growing the company from $0 in revenue to $1.2MM and 1 employee to over 20, including 2 retail locations in its first year before being acquired.

Bob is a General Partner at JMI Equity, a growth equity firm focused on investing in leading software companies. He has deep experience helping growth companies build value. Bob is currently a director of Adknowledge, AlertMedia, Benevity, Cosential, Higher Logic, Level Access, and Raptor Technologies, as well as a member of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) board of directors.
Karen consults with CEO’s, COOs and Chief Customer Officers to assess and define strategies for Customer Success, Professional Services, Account Management and Support. She recently left Code42 after serving as their SVP of Customer Success where she led all post-sale, customer-facing functions. In her over 20 years in the software industry, Karen has built customer success programs for world-class brands like Adaptive Insights, Oracle and Eloqua—where she managed Customer Success teams and post-sale customer functions. By focusing teams on adoption and customer satisfaction, Karen helped Eloqua, an Oracle acquisition, more than triple revenues over four years and expand sales to its existing customer base.

Professional Services Consultant
As a Professional Services Consultant at Cosential, Stephanie Fortner is responsible for guiding new clients with the implementation of Cosential including configuration/customization of their account, importing data, coordinating integrations, and training. She brings more than 25 years of experience working with architects, engineers, and related consulting firms. Before coming to Cosential, Stephanie worked with architects, engineers, specialty design consultants, and accountants to help them manage their business development and marketing activities using a variety of CRM, database, and collateral automation tools. Her prior experience includes serving as the internal lead and overall firm administrator for the successful implementation of Cosential at multiple A/E companies. Her experience with companies of varying size and geographic reach enables her to understand the complexities of A/E/C operations and procedures and to excel at leading these companies through the process of implementing a tool such as Cosential.
As a Professional Services Consultant at Cosential, Stacie is responsible for assisting clients with implementation. She brings experience from her career as a marketing professional in the AEC industry. Most recently, Stacie served as CRM Analyst at Hollis + Miller Architects, where she implemented and maintained Cosential, in addition to assisting with proposal production and communications campaigns. Prior to that, she worked in marketing roles for AEC firms.
Makala Dunlap has been a Professional Services Consultant with Cosential for more than 8 years. She currently focuses on new client management, data, configuration and training. She brings more than 15 years’ experience both as an Overall Firm Administrator (OFA) from an A/E firm as well as a PSC for Cosential. She enjoys the anything to do with sunshine and the beach, her newlywed husband, stepdaughter and their three Yorkies.
As a Professional Services Consultant of Cosential, Laura Harmon helps clients to connect their Cosential accounts to their accounting systems and understand how they can use Cosential to improve their businesses. She brings 12 years of experience in marketing for the AEC industry. Before coming to Cosential Laura served as Marketing Director at ME Engineers, where she led corporate marketing efforts, including proposal development, branding and public relations activities. She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer through SMPS and currently serves on SMPS Colorado’s Executive Board as Secretary.
Christina Leahy is a Project Manager at Cosential. Involved with Cosential since its inception, she currently focuses on managing projects related to integration of Cosential with other software systems. She brings to this task 30 years of experience in the A/E/C industry as a marketer and database consultant. A member of SMPS, she has conducted numerous well-received presentations to chapters on the topics of effective marketing, organizational systems and design. She enjoys living in South Florida with her husband and daughter.
As a Product Manager at Cosential, Dianna is responsible for working with Cosential users and our development team to maximize the value of Cosential to our customers. She brings 18 years of Marketing and Business Development experience in the AEC industry. During her more than 10 years at Cosential, Dianna has guided hundreds of firms through the implementation of Cosential as well as processes and procedures to encourage user adoption and maintain data integrity.
As Product Manager of Cosential, Lisa Pitts is responsible for working with the development team to maximize the value of Cosential to our customers. She brings 26 years of experience in the AEC industry. Most recently, Lisa served as an Implementation Specialist at Cosential, where she was responsible for managing complex implementations for a wide range of firm types and sizes, providing expert training and business process consulting. Prior to that, she worked as a marketer for architectural/engineering and construction firms, overseeing preparation of complex proposals, managing marketing standards, business development efforts, and CRMs.
